Up until recently, I was on an ongoing hunt to discover what my style consisted of. Personally, professionally, and artistically I had zero sense of direction, but rather, an ongoing maze as to what defined me as a person. I have always known what I like and what tends to appeal to me, but I was never able to personify or illustrate it.
Style is an evolution that continues to manifest as time goes on. When you are able to locate exactly what embodies your ideas and visions, your creativity can only sprout more from there.
Some people may find a "Muse" that becomes the root to their own personal brand. I call it:
"Pinpointing your Poster Child."
Whatever it may be, find what excites and defines you and tag the town with your own personal posters!
Kiersten and myself have come a long way since last spring when I first painted her hair. It has been beautiful to watch her (and her locks) grow from the girl who allowed me to take impromptu photos of her in the alley behind my salon, to a confident and thriving model in the Denver area. She is and will forever be the "Poster Child" of my art.
Until later.. XOX- BAM
