Lately, long walks have taken up a good amount of my spare time. With the weather being as outstandingly comfortable as it has been and the trees transitioning into remarkable colors, I find myself drawn to nature's constant transformation. I adore how the sun sits lower in the sky, making the entire day feel as though it is on the verge of a sunset, and I have noticed that the glow of the sun's rays through multi-colored leaves tends to cast the most complimentative lighting on everyone I pass on the sidewalk. I cannot help but feel a a strong sense of romance on these nice little strolls. Because of all of this natural beauty, I decided that I wanted to capture this feeling, and there was no prettier girl to help me other than my stunning client, Romie.
Romie has amazing hair color naturally. She is so easy to lighten, and even easier to darken. For this shoot, I wanted to go outside of my "hair-down" box. I created a soft, romantic bouffant with light teasing and soft hits of a medium hold hairspray. I love how the sun shines through the wispy-ness of this style, giving Romie an ethereal glow. I dressed her in clothes from my own closet, (yes that is a bolo tie!) and added a small wing in her eyeliner. We had such a sweet time as I snapped photos of her laughing and walking around this pretty park. Xox
